Tasha Lienemann
Tasha twenty years experience in IT and Telecom expense management.
Prior to becoming a partner at 2 Markets, Tasha held numerous management and service delivery positions at Calero and Tangoe. As VP of Operations and Account Management at Calero, Tasha managed over $500M in telecom spend, implemented over 50 TEM customers and supervised a team of 75 professionals.
Throughout her career managing all functional areas of TEM, Tasha has achieved such results as ensuring 100% SLA compliance across her client base, and 95% client retention. Among her accomplishments are the development of an IT asset inventory that saved a Fortune 100 banking institution more than $150K, and creation of an IT sourcing analyst team that has a 100% ROI. Finally, she managed an RFP through implementation for a Fortune 50 retailer, establishing a new TEM program and system in less than 8 months.
She holds a BS in Business Management/Marketing from Clayton State University.
Russ Burd
Russ has over 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry working with telecom carriers, large enterprise clients, and TEM vendors. As a founder and principal, he leads business development and marketing initiatives at 2-Markets.
Prior to 2-Markets, Russ was EVP of Professional Services for Telarix, where he was responsible for implementing LCR and billing solutions for global carriers worldwide. Russ also launched and ran the iXLink line of business, which is used by more than 600 global telecom operators across 60 countries.
Russ was a founding partner of Broadmargin, a telecom expense management software and services firm, which provided TEM solutions to clients such as GE, Citibank, Delta Airlines, Nike, Cingular, Verizon, Qwest, France Telecom, and AT&T. At Broadmargin, Russ held several positions, including General Manager of the Enterprise Business Unit and COO.
He holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado, and an MBA from George Washington University.
Hormoz Hekmat
Hormoz has more than 20 years’ experience in managing and growing technology companies. At 2-Markets, Hormoz leads all managed services activities.
Prior to joining 2-Markets, he assisted early stage technology companies with sales, marketing, and investment capital funding. He was previously COO of LogiXML [now Logi Analytics], a web-based business intelligence company. Hormoz was also co-founder and EVP of business development for Telarix, the leader in telecom interconnect business optimization software.
He holds a BA in economics and a BS in computer science from George Washington University.
